The San Francisco Compute Company exists to reduce the risk of AI. The scale of the AI buildout is larger than nearly any other physical buildout in the history of the world. But it’s filled with technical, commercial, and financial challenges that are tightly interconnected. If you don’t solve them together, lenders can’t underwrite clusters and the AI labs that buy them are forced to take on catastrophic risk.
As a GRC director, your role will be to help implement controls at SFC and help build the company into an institution that earns the trust it’s been given and can shoulder the responsibility we will take on.
